These 8/4 paper full-size paper patterns are for the rocker we build in my classes and that I have been building for my clients in recent years. It differs from the original in that it allows you to build the sculptured rocker with 8/4 stock instead of having to find stock that matches the hard to find 10/4 thickness. It is also more comfortable. The instruction matches up with the Sculptured Rocker Video Series in both DVD and Streaming formats.
This page of full-size patterns supplies the patterns you need to make a form like the one I have used in my my shop and classes for the past 8 years. It is more light weight and easier to use than the original form and is so much more than the top profile of the forms body (what you receive in the pattern set with the rocker bundle). It will be simple to build the form with the video instructions included in the rocker video series (chapter on jigs and forms). This pattern set includes the complete form body, the 3 cauls and the placement of guides and backer boards to make the form body and cauls interlocking.
